What is Nasya Karma?
Nasya is one of the five Panchakarma therapies and is considered the gateway treatment for all diseases of the head, neck, and sensory organs. The Procedure at Aajna Ayurcure
Nasya Karma begins with a gentle facial massage and steam (Mukha Abhyanga & Swedana) to open the channels. The patient lies in a reclined position with the head slightly tilted back. Measured drops of warm medicated oil are instilled into each nostril, followed by gentle inhalation. The entire procedure takes 30–45 minutes.

Everything you need to know about Nasya Karma
There may be a brief tingling or warm sensation in the nasal passages, but it is not painful. The preparatory massage and steam make the experience quite comfortable.
Nasya is actually one of the best treatments for colds and congestion. However, it is not done during acute fever or nasal bleeding. The type of Nasya is adjusted based on your condition.
Therapeutic Nasya is typically done as a course of 7 days. Preventive Nasya (Pratimarsha) with 2 drops of Anu Tailam can be done daily at home.
